Classy Wheeler Limited Overview
We are a leading general insurance company in Hong Kong and Macau, covering a wide range of risks for our clients. To support our growth and expansion, we are seeking an experienced Strategic Risk Management Professional to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategic risk management policies, procedures, and manuals that align with regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with senior leadership to set the vision and strategy for enterprise risk management across the organization.
- Perform risk analysis and enhancement in new business and investment plans.
- Review internal control self-assessment reports from business units and provide recommendations for control enhancements.
- Serve as the Chief Risk Officer, responsible for compiling, assessing, and reporting risk information to top management and the Board.
- Degree holder in Actuarial, Risk Management, Finance, or related disciplines with professional qualifications in CFA/FRM/PRM/SOA.
- Minimum 8 years' experience in risk management, including 6 years in supervisory level.
- Actuarial and risk management experience in general insurance firms is highly preferred.
- Solid knowledge of modern risk management theory, common practice, and overall risk management systems, including insurance risk, market risk, credit risk management, and operational risk management.
- Prior sound credit risk management experience, particularly handling challenging requests from regulators and auditors.
- Mature and able to work independently under pressure.
- Self-motivated with good analytical and people skills.
- Excellent analytical skills, high integrity, and good communication skills in both written and spoken English and Cantonese and Putonghua.
- Proficiency in MS office and Chinese Word Processing.
