Job Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Performing routine building cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
  • Sanitizing bathrooms and other high-touch areas
  • Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
  • Painting interior and exterior surfaces
  • Removing snow and ice from sidewalks and parking areas

In addition, you will be responsible for receiving, moving, and storing supplies, arranging chairs and tables for special events, and performing minor repairs as needed.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in building cleaning and maintenance
  • Good working knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment
  • Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written directions
  • Excellent people skills and ability to work effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and administration

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:

  • A salary range of $22.07-$23.88 per hour
  • Eligibility for CSEA Collective Bargaining Agreement benefits
