Facilities Management Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Management Coordinator to join our team at Hong Kong International School. This role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our Student Activity Centre and School Campus' electrical and mechanical systems.
Main Responsibilities
- Oversee the receipt and execution of work orders to meet daily schedules
- Supervise contractors and ensure high-quality work
- Maintain inventory and collaborate with the Engineering Manager to order supplies
- Conduct routine inspections and take readings
- Operate, maintain, and repair electrical, MVAC, fire services, plumbing & drainage, and ELV systems
- Respond to emergencies and special duties as assigned
- Assist in event setup and support sustainability initiatives
- Contribute to T&C work and new facility handovers
- Ensure a safe and clean work area
- Participate in other duties and functions as required
Requirements
Education:
- Technical institute graduate in mechanical or electrical engineering
- EMSD Registered Electrical Worker (REW) license A or B
- Licensed Plumber from WSD preferred
Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in E&M system operation, maintenance, and installation
- Experience in hotels, schools, or institutes advantageous
- Experience in new facility handovers and T&C work
Skills:
- Familiarity with AV system operation
- Basic written and verbal English
- Proficiency in general computer software (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel)
- Good team player and interpersonal skills
- Able to work in a multicultural environment
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
