**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Officer to join our team in Product Compliance at Robert Walters Hong Kong. As a key member of our compliance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert compliance advice to our business units on regulatory initiatives and projects.
- Participate in regulatory projects and provide advisory from a compliance perspective.
- Perform timely compliance reviews on product onboarding due diligence and marketing materials to ensure adherence to regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Legal, Business, Operations, and Risk, to support compliance-related matters.
- Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings and responses to inquiries from regulatory authorities.
- Support the team in different product types delegation of job.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in insurance regulations and communicate relevant updates to the team.
- Perform additional ad hoc duties as assigned.
What You Bring:
- University graduate or equivalent qualification.
- At least 5 years of experience in the insurance industry or 2 years of experience in the compliance field of another industry.
- Sound understanding of insurance regulations and industry standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including identifying issues and asking follow-up questions to facilitate compliance review and advice.
- Good skills to motivate and convince stakeholders to achieve compliance goals.
- Demonstrate confidence and maturity in communicating and dealing with business units and regulators.
- Proven ability to be a self-starter in driving compliance initiatives.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
