We are seeking a skilled Application Support Specialist to join our Wealth Management team. As a key member of our IT support team, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting a range of applications, including Avaloq, the core banking system used by Wealth Management Asia Business and Functional units.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the application support team lead and other team members to ensure the safety and soundness of application environments for daily operations.
- Provide functional and technical support to end-users across multiple functional and geographic areas.
- Manage complexity well and coordinate information and activities among groups with differing agendas, across multiple functional and geographic areas.
- Support daily Day End Process, investigate and resolve issues that arise.
- Coordinate with vendors or L2/3 teams to resolve production issues and communicate with end-users.
- Conduct UAT and PIV for ad-hoc or monthly releases.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent field.
- 1-2 years' experience in application support or business analysis role in banking/brokerage/investment industry.
- Ability to quickly familiarize oneself with knowledge of international business units, regulations, pressures, and requirements.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and analysis skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with remote teams in global banks and handling complex matrix structures.
- Experience with Avaloq is a plus.
- Good knowledge of trading connectivity and market infrastructure.
- Practical knowledge of financial markets and applicable regulations.
