Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Fitness Center Supervisor to join our team at HONG KONG INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the school's Fitness Center, ensuring a safe and positive environment for users.

Main Job Responsibilities
  • Supervise users to maintain a safe and positive atmosphere
  • Routinely inspect equipment and ensure regular cleaning
  • Enforce rules, regulations, protocols, and safety standards
  • Report unsafe or unusual observations to the Director of Activities & Athletics and/or facilities management
Fitness Programs and Services
  • Develop and implement fitness programs that cater to various fitness levels
  • Train students and adults in proper equipment use, lifting form, and protocols
  • Provide rehabilitation services to student athletes and colleagues
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Certified in Sports Science, Sports Management, or Sports Coaching preferred but not essential
  • Certified personal trainer or fitness instructor possessing ACSM, AFAA, NASM, NSCA, PICP, ISSA, ACE, or equivalent
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Minimum 2 years of experience training students and adults with various fitness levels
  • Experience working in a Fitness Center
  • Experience developing varied training programs and safety protocols
