Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Fitness Centre Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our exercise centre, ensuring a safe and positive environment for users. The successful candidate will have a strong background in sports science, sports management, or coaching, as well as experience in training students and adults with various fitness levels.

The supervisor will be responsible for administering fitness orientations, developing programs to meet the varied needs of students and adults, and collaborating with our athletic trainer, physical education department, and sports coaches to integrate resistance training into physical education classes and athletic programs.

  • Develop programs to meet the varied needs of students and adults
  • Maintain a safe environment by supervising users and enforcing rules, regulations, protocols, and safety standards
  • Inspect equipment and provide routine upkeep to prevent maintenance issues

Key Responsibilities: Fitness Centre and Exercise Room Supervision, Equipment and Room Maintenance, Fitness Programs, Rehabilitation and First Responder, Other Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications: Education: Certified in Sports Science, Sports Management, or Sports Coaching; Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience training students and adults with various fitness levels; Skills: Ability to work with students under the age of 18, knowledge and skill in using varied athletic and fitness equipment
