Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Transportation Expert to join our Operational Care Team at Kuehne+Nagel. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering Operational Excellence by executing bookings, entering orders, and generating export/import documentation while liaising with Customer Care Teams and Revenue Care teams.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and complete shipment details in our internal transport management system, coordinate with all involved stakeholders, and organize transport based on the customer promise.
  • Obtain DG approvals where required, escalate discrepancies as needed, and monitor/report on operational performance of carriers and other vendors.
  • Create files for consolidation/export or de-consolidation/import, review shipping instructions, and ensure alignment with country regulations, export/import compliance, rate, and routing information.
  • Accurately submit/issue all required documentation within 24 hours of departure, ensure departure and arrival confirmations (or deviations) are shared with CCLs, and provide cost awareness to CCLs and RCC.
  • Support and resolve claims/disputes using your analytical and problem-solving approach, working under pressure, and excellent time management skills.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
  • Experience within a freight forwarding environment, with knowledge of relevant governance and regulatory requirements.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. Our benefits package includes opportunities for professional growth, a dynamic work environment, and a chance to be part of a global logistics leader.
