Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary social media team, integrating public relations, direct marketing, advertising, and shopper marketing efforts.
  • Conduct online research and monitor social media trends utilizing various social media listening tools.
  • Develop strategic social media initiatives.
  • Execute campaigns focusing on content creation, community engagement, influencer identification, outreach, and offline activation.
  • Assess campaign performance using diverse social media analytics tools, maintaining an organized, data-driven approach.
  • Manage day-to-day client relationships effectively.
  • Oversee project management tasks.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent with a strong academic background.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with Chinese social media platforms, particularly WeChat and Weibo; familiarity with other platforms is advantageous. Experience in social KOL marketing is preferred.
  • A solid understanding and enthusiasm for digital marketing trends and industry practices in China, especially within luxury brands.
  • Knowledge of current and emerging media platforms in Mainland China, including their consumer and business applications.
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken (assessment will be conducted).
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to think critically and creatively, demonstrating problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.
  • Capable of planning and executing multiple projects simultaneously in an organized manner.
  • Maintain composure and sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Understand how to stimulate conversations and foster online word-of-mouth marketing.
  • A genuine passion for social media and word-of-mouth marketing.

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in Cantonese and the ability to read and write traditional Chinese.
  • Experience in image and video production and editing.
  • Leadership or management experience.
  • Experience in business development.
