At Unicorn Advisor (HK) Limited, we are seeking a seasoned Financial Sponsorship Manager to spearhead our IPO and capital markets transactions. This role offers an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to drive business growth and lead high-profile projects.

Job Overview

  • This position will oversee the origination, execution, and coordination of IPOs and other capital markets transactions, ensuring timely completion and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as Responsible Officer with management responsibilities and duties to supervise SFC regulated activities of the firm
  • Manage and lead the origination and execution of IPOs and other capital markets transactions, including project management/coordination, due diligence and project execution
  • Assist in deal assessment and due diligence reviews for internal approvals
  • Supervise the entire process of project; provide guidance and support to junior staff
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations, including internal policies and procedures
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal/external clients, professional parties, and regulators

Requirements

  • Degree holder in related disciplines. MBA or Master degree is a plus
  • SFC Type 6 RO with IPO Sponsor Principal qualification
  • At least 10 years of solid experience in corporate finance with good track record of successful IPOs as sponsor
  • Strong knowledge in the Listing Rules is required and Takeovers Codes is preferred
  • Independent, proactive, responsible, a good team player and willing to travel
  • Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua is a must

  • The estimated salary for this role is HK$1,200,000 - HK$1,500,000 per annum, depending on experience.
