The Job Opportunity

  • As a freelance translator based in Taiwan or Hong Kong, you will work with our client on localization projects that require native Chinese language skills.
  • With more than 2 years of experience in localization and a strong understanding of CAT tools like Trados, Phrase, and others, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality translations within tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate various types of content from English to Chinese, including technical documents, marketing materials, and software requirements.
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure accurate and consistent translation throughout the project.
  • Deliver translated content on time, meeting the required quality standards and adhering to our company's style guidelines.

Your Qualifications

  • A native speaker of Chinese from Taiwan or Hong Kong, with excellent writing and communication skills in both languages.
  • At least 2 years of experience in localization, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality translations within tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with CAT tools, such as Trados, Phrase, and others.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
