Position Overview


As an OSS Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our OSS systems. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining optimal performance and addressing any technical challenges that arise.


Key Responsibilities


• Oversee OSS systems to guarantee peak performance and reliability.


• Serve as a technical expert and escalation point, assisting in the identification and resolution of system issues in collaboration with various teams.


• Execute modifications to OSS systems aimed at enhancing performance and operational efficiency.


• Implement proactive measures to ensure the stability and integrity of OSS systems.


• Collaborate with the Engineering team to strategize and implement system upgrades and expansions.


• Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including diagrams, processes, and procedures.


• Support automation initiatives by developing scripts and tools to streamline network operations.


• Uphold company policies and maintain a high standard of professionalism and integrity.


• Provide emergency support outside of standard working hours and be prepared to work weekends or nights for maintenance or upgrades as necessary.

Qualifications for Success


• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.


• 1-2 years of experience in RAN and OSS network operations.


• Proficient understanding of LTE/5G RAN and OSS systems and protocols.


• Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.


• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.


• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Perl.


• Capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.


• Eagerness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies and methodologies.
