Job Title: OSS Engineer

About the Role

HKT is seeking an experienced OSS Engineer to join our team. As an OSS Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring OSS systems to ensure optimal system performance and uptime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor OSS systems to ensure optimal system performance and uptime
  • Act as a technical resource and point of escalation to identify and troubleshoot systems issues
  • Implement changes to OSS systems to improve system performance and efficiency
  • Implement proactive and continuous measures to maintain the stability of OSS systems
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to plan and execute system upgrades and expansions
  • Create and maintain system documentation, including system diagrams, processes, and procedures
  • Support system automation initiatives and help develop scripts and tools to automate network operations
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures and maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity
  • Provide emergency support outside of regular office hours and be available to work weekends or nights for maintenance or platform upgrades when necessary

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of working experience in RAN and OSS network operations
  • Understanding of LTE/5G RAN and OSS systems and protocols
  • Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Familiar with scripting languages such as Python or Perl
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Willing to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
