Overview:
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in nurturing positive relationships between employees and management while addressing various employee-related matters. This position serves as a strategic ally to the organization, fostering a constructive, respectful, and engaging workplace. Additionally, the role involves investigating and resolving employee grievances and disciplinary concerns, ensuring transparent communication to uphold the Company's policies and procedures effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a reliable consultant to the organization on employee relations issues, offering advice and strategic recommendations.
- Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and disciplinary matters with fairness and impartiality.
- Mediate conflicts and facilitate resolutions between employees and management.
- Support managers in implementing effective employee relations strategies, including performance management and communication practices.
- Ensure that communication channels are clear, enabling managers to understand and comply with HR policies and relevant employment regulations.
- Collaborate with the Business Partner team on initiatives aimed at cultivating a positive, inclusive, and productive workplace culture.
- Analyze HR metrics and data, providing insightful reports to the leadership team to inform decision-making.
- Ensure adherence to local labor laws and related regulations.
- Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant HR experience in multinational companies, including a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role with proven operational experience.
- Strong knowledge of local employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of collaborating with individuals across various functions and levels.
- Familiarity with the BPO customer service sector is advantageous, with an understanding of business drivers for success.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in spoken and written English, Chinese, and Cantonese.
