About the RoleWe are seeking an ambitious Senior Associate to join our Hong Kong office as a member of our senior team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing company that specializes in forensic accounting, corporate advisory, restructuring, turnaround, and insolvency services.
Job Responsibilities- Assist in the administration of compulsory and voluntary liquidations, ensuring seamless execution and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support bankruptcy, receivership, and restructuring engagements, leveraging technical expertise to drive successful outcomes.
- Draft high-quality reports, correspondence, and deliverables to clients, showcasing exceptional communication skills.
- Contribute to the development of best practices, promoting excellence within the team and driving continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain client relationships, fostering trust and delivering exceptional service.
- Undertake investigative work to recover assets, utilizing analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Participate in client meetings, providing expert insights and strategic guidance.
- Ensure statutory and compliance matters are handled efficiently for insolvency cases.
- Manage multiple projects and engagements simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Liaise with stakeholders, creditors, and other advisors, maintaining effective communication and collaboration.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in financial accounting practices and relevant experience commensurate with the position of Senior Associate. Key requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related business discipline.
- CA, CPA, or equivalent qualifications. Part-qualified candidates will be considered, with support provided to complete the qualification process.
- A minimum of 2 years' relevant experience for the position of Senior Associate.
- Adequate business and commercial acumen.
- Experience in cross-border matters is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
The successful candidate can expect a highly competitive remuneration package, including a base salary range of HKD 600,000 - HKD 800,000 per annum, plus benefits and bonuses based on performance.
