Overview:
Madison Pearl is seeking a skilled Junior Commercial Banker to join its team in Hong Kong. As a commercial banker, you will play a key role in supporting the bank's business growth and expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough due diligence on new clients, including KYC/AML checks, and prepare comprehensive client reports.
- Create detailed financial statements for both new and existing clients, showcasing their financial health and creditworthiness.
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers to develop and process credit proposals, ensuring seamless execution and effective risk management.
- Develop expertise in the bank's credit policies, products, and services, serving as a subject matter expert across all business verticals.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and clients, resolving issues and queries promptly and professionally.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Economics, Mathematics, or Engineering.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in banking or financial services; fresh graduates with relevant qualifications may also be considered.
- Fluent English language skills, with proficiency in both spoken and written forms.
- Demonstrated strong credit skills and a solid understanding of financial services products and regulatory requirements.
- Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and create insightful reports.
- Candidates must be eligible to work and reside in Hong Kong.
Benefits:
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary package, including a base salary of approximately HKD $550,000 per annum, plus benefits and bonuses based on individual performance and company targets.
