Unlock Business Potential with Data-Driven Insights

As a key member of the DBS Consumer Banking Group, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth through data-driven decision making. With a strong focus on data quality and analytics, you will work closely with stakeholders to identify areas of optimization and develop sustainable methodologies to bring new data sources into the architecture.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with data owners to ensure data quality and hygiene, and develop processes to monitor business performance and prepare relevant MIS for the Consumer Banking leadership team.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to identify areas of optimization in data discovery, ETL, storage, enrichment, and usage.
  • Uncover new sources of structured and unstructured data through stakeholder engagement and new technology initiatives, and bring them into the architecture using sustainable methodologies.
  • Be a subject matter expert in data to support the increasing demands from business and other analytics/data science teams.
  • Streamline and automate internal processes to ensure efficient and effective data generation and analytics processes are in place.
Requirements:
  • 3 years of data analytics experience in a sizeable Consumer Banking operation with strong programming skills, especially in SAS and Python.
  • University graduate majoring in mathematics, statistics, business analytics, information systems, computer science, or other related disciplines.
  • Sound knowledge in Consumer Banking business.
  • Strong ability to analyze and interpret business and financial data.
  • Knowledge in building dashboards using Qlik Sense or equivalent tools is an advantage.
