Are you looking for a challenging role in business management? We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Management Professional to join our team at DBS Vickers Securities Group.
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Management Professional to support the day-to-day operations of our business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with a proven track record of managing budgets, expenses, and vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day accounting book entries and expenses management of the business.
- Assist in the Annual Budget Planning exercise, perform analysis of budget and expenses and compile regular reports for management review.
- Manage the quality of vendor service and establish quality control measures (e.g. set up SLA and on-going monitoring).
- Prepare presentation materials in relation to budget and expenses for presentation in regular management meetings.
- Handle enquiries and requests from internal stakeholders and regulators.
- Provide on-going support and follow up the action plans of Employee Engagement Survey.
- Drive cost savings initiatives and participate in ad hoc projects.
- Perform the role of Business Continuity Plan (BCP) Co-ordinator and perform the tasks in accordance with BCM requirements.
- Provide administrative support to COO and senior members of the team.
- Assist senior teammates in performing control testings and following up tasks from business projects.
- University graduate in Finance, Economics, Accounting or other related disciplines.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in financial services industry.
- Detail conscious with strong analytical and planning skills.
- Well versed with regulations applicable to brokerage and risk management principles would be an asset.
- Self-motivated, capable of managing multi-tasks and work independently.
- Strong people and communication skills with good command of written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel and Powerpoint.
We offer a competitive salary range of HKD 45,000 - 60,000 per month, depending on experience. We also provide opportunities for professional growth and development, as well as a dynamic and supportive work environment.
