Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management of client/projects, ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Support the team in developing and implementing client strategies and insurance solutions tailored to the construction industry.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities within the construction sector.
- Prepare and consolidate underwriting information, submissions, quotation slips, placing slips, policy wordings and/or insurance manuals.
- Engage with insurance markets and underwriters to negotiate premium indications and quotations, while fostering and maintaining market relationships.
- Prepare and present client proposals, reports, and presentations.
- Collaborate with internal teams/offices in Asia to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Manage invoicing and billing process. Collaborate closely with the finance and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely invoice generation.
- Monitor outstanding payments and accounts receivable, coordinate payment collections, and proactively address any issues or discrepancies that arise.
- Assist in preparation of RfP/Tender/New Business opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree holder or above.
- Achieved ACII/ANZIIF or equivalent qualification is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in insurance industry including handling accounts.
- Well versed in general insurance products and/or a basic understanding of construction specific insurances.
- Ability to manage client, underwriter and regional office relationships.
- Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced working environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good command of English.
