Consumer Banking Group Research Specialist

We are seeking a Consumer Banking Group Research Specialist to join our team in Hong Kong. As a member of our Consumer Banking Group, you will be responsible for assisting businesses in understanding market environments and customer behaviors within Asia and beyond.
About the Job:
- The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting primary and secondary research, building in-house knowledge banks, and sharing findings with stakeholders.
- Collaboration and influence are key aspects of this role, as you will work closely with key stakeholders to drive enhancements in customer journeys, product development, and competitive edge.
- You will establish frameworks for competitive intelligence based on stakeholder needs and prioritize according to business impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead planning and sourcing relevant secondary reports and data points to build an intelligence knowledge bank.
- Craft compelling narratives based on various data points to tell insightful stories and provide actionable recommendations about key focused markets and their customers.
- Provide advisory support to business units on competitive intelligence and trends to support initiatives' strategy development.
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Business Administration, Finance, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 10 years of consumer insights and data analysis experience in financial institutions.
- Customer-focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong Excel and data analytic skills.
- Ability to present data in a systematic way.
