Freelance Strategy Director

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Freelance Strategy Director to join our dynamic team.

The primary focus of the Klick Strategy team is to define the optimal methods for pharmaceutical brands to engage with their target audiences, ensuring effective customer interaction and measurable business results. We provide strategic advice on critical components of go-to-market strategies, including:

  • Target audience identification
  • Channel selection
  • Marketing ecosystem architecture
  • Performance assessment and enhancement

Our approach is collaborative; we leverage a diverse array of in-house experts to achieve the best outcomes for our clients. We are driven by curiosity and a passion for addressing complex marketing challenges while identifying opportunities for innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of go-to-market strategies for multiple accounts, each encompassing various brands.
  • Create annual tactical plans tailored to client needs.
  • Develop solutions for clients' marketing challenges and draft corresponding project briefs.
  • Collaborate with the Analytics team to evaluate brand performance and suggest improvements.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership by producing documents that reflect insights on industry and technology trends.
  • Oversee one or more strategists.
  • Participate in account-level leadership teams, focusing on client relationships, financial performance, and operational growth.
  • Engage in new business presentations.

Qualifications:

  • A university degree in business or science; an MBA is preferred.
  • 7-10+ years of marketing experience, primarily in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, ideally within an agency environment.
  • A strong intellectual curiosity combined with a talent for creative problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation abilities.
  • Experience working in South East Asia and South Asia markets at both regional and local levels.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Mandarin or Japanese is advantageous.
