Executive Loss Adjuster, Construction

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Loss Adjuster to join our Construction and Engineering team at Charles Taylor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling complex and technical insurance claims arising from the building construction, civil engineering, and energy sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Perform loss adjusting functions in respect of new claims and those already handled in the offices delegated by Directors.
- Manage and coordinate claims in a timely and professional manner within agreed SLAs.
- Undertake site visits and meet with Insurers, Reinsurers, Brokers, Claimants, Insureds, and other interested parties.
- Prepare preliminary reports commenting on all aspects of the claim, including legal and policy liability considerations, potential quantum, and future actions.
- Instruct and control surveyors, lawyers, forensic scientists, and other experts as necessary.
- Communicate regularly with all interested parties, calculate and approve interim payments, prepare interim reports, and other communications.
- Calculate, negotiate, and agree settlement of claims, and prepare accurate final reports.
- University degree qualified in Construction, Engineering, or other relevant subject.
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a loss adjuster, preferably in handling commercial property damage losses, including Business Interruption, and/or C&E claims.
- Holding professional adjusting certification or willing to undertake further study to attain loss adjusting qualifications.
