Position Overview

Job Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead the insurance sales team, managing day-to-day operations and building a high-performing team.
  • Compliance and Governance: Serve as the Responsible Officer for the insurance practice, ensuring compliance with regulations and updating internal guidelines and handbooks as necessary.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to enhance the performance of insurance products and achieve business objectives.
  • Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with Relationship Managers (RMs) to support their sales efforts, providing insights and assistance with client engagement.
  • Product Oversight: Oversee the internal brokerage of insurance products while ensuring quality service for all clients.
  • Market Analysis: Assess market trends and client needs to identify opportunities for product development and expansion.
  • Mentorship: Provide mentorship and guidance to the insurance consultant within the team.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in the insurance or financial services sector, with a strong background in sales.
  • Background: Prior experience in a brokerage firm is essential, with a proven track record of driving sales and managing teams.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Must hold a valid RO license and have a deep understanding of the insurance industry's regulatory environment.
  • Skills: Strong sales acumen and the ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin to effectively communicate with clients from various regions.
