Job Title: Customer Analytics

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our customer analytics team at Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving data-driven decision making and ensuring the effective use of data to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Data Infrastructure Team: Optimize data models to facilitate customer analytics and data marketing operations, ensuring seamless integration with business units.
  • Stay Ahead of Market Trends: Keep abreast of market technology and customer behavior changes to promote innovation and effectively use fintech and data solutions to derive business value.
  • Develop Data Strategy: Assist the Head of Customer Intelligence to provide overall data strategy and lead professional data teams to improve analytics effectiveness.
  • Enhance Data User Experience: Explore, promote, and implement analytical tools across the team to enhance data users' experience and productivity.
  • Data Stewardship: Act as the data steward to master data management initiatives and maintain data control in data governance, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations, policies, and guidelines.
  • Risk Management: Ensure relevant rules and regulations, policies, and procedures are followed; identify and control potential or existing risks, report to superiors, and make rectification measures and follow up.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Maintain close communication and collaboration with business units to promote the use of data.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise subordinates on tasks, provide appropriate support, assistance, and encouragement.
  • Performance Assessment: Assess the performance of subordinates through measurable indicators and clear responsibilities setup, provide timely feedback, and take adjustment measures when needed.
  • Reporting and Monitoring: Report timely to superiors on data analysis application strategy, policy, and program's latest development and trend, create a risk awareness culture, and monitor overall asset quality.
Requirements:
  • Education: Degree or above with a major in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Over 10 years of working experience in data analytics, data science, data governance, data management, or MIS, with at least 5 years at a managerial level.
  • Skills: Familiarity with data architecture, cloud solution, banking products, and operations enhancement; experience in various statistical analysis, programming, and visualization tools, including SAS, Python, Qlik, Tableau.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills with a good command of English and Chinese in both spoken and written, including Mandarin.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access).
