Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled FIX Connectivity Specialist to join our team at IO TECH SOLUTIONS LIMITED. As a key member of our trading operations support team, you will be responsible for providing daily trading operations support for various trading desks, including High Touch & Low Touch cash Equities, SWAP desk, and F&O desk.

Key Areas of Focus
  • Support daily trading operations for multiple trading desks, ensuring seamless connectivity and data flow.
  • Test and certify FIX clients, vendors, brokers, internal and external dark and lit pools, and exchanges to ensure compliance with market regulations.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams to establish and maintain FIX network relationships with external parties.
  • Work closely with the FIX team in CLSA Pune, US, and Australia to ensure global market coverage.
  • Perform other trade support functions as needed to ensure business continuity.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in FIX technology, with a strong background in FIX certification and client onboarding, preferably in a Broker/Dealer environment.
  • Proven experience with Cameron FIX or Appia or other FIX engines.
  • Excellent knowledge of Cash Equity business, SWAP, Future & Options business in a DMA/DSA, Agency, and Program FIX environment.
  • Good understanding of Trade Flow systems, especially in ID markets like CONNECT, Korea, Taiwan, and India.
  • Good knowledge of exchange rules in Asian markets.
  • Good understanding of Order Management Systems like Fidessa, Flextrade, etc.
  • Good understanding of Front-end systems like Bloomberg, ITG, etc.
  • Good exposure to FIX testing tools like VeriFIX.
  • Good exposure to FIX monitoring tools like KIBANA, Grafana, Logstash, Elastic search, ITRS, etc.
  • Good exposure to change and incident management tools like SNOW.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with vendors and traders.
Technical Skills

You will need:

  • Knowledge of FIX protocol (FIX versions 4.0, 4.1, 4.2, etc.) and automated tools.
  • Knowledge of ORACLE (user level).
  • Knowledge of Unix and Shell scripting.
  • Programming knowledge of Java, Python (a plus).
  • Awareness of SRE concepts (a plus).
