About the Role

The English Schools Foundation (ESF) is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Secondary Teacher of History to join our team. As a member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality History lessons to students in our secondary schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging History lessons to students in our secondary schools.
  • Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to measure student progress and understanding.
  • Provide support and guidance to students outside of class, including extra help and feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans and resources.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and subject knowledge.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in History or a related subject.
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
  • Experience of teaching History in a secondary school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality education and supporting student progress.
