About the Role:

The English Schools Foundation (ESF) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Art Teacher to join our team at a secondary school. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Art to students in Years 7-13, developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, and assessing student progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Art to students in Years 7-13, including IGCSE and IB Diploma courses
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Art Education or a related field
  • Teaching certification or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a secondary school setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
