About the Role

The English Schools Foundation (ESF) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Teacher of Design and Technology to join our team of educators. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to our students, fostering a love of learning, and promoting academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging and challenging curriculum for students aged 11-14, incorporating the MYP framework and iGCSE Design.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning needs and abilities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
  • Contribute to the development of our post-16 course, including IBDP Design and equivalent post-16 programmes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Proven teaching experience in Design and Technology, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality education.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and pedagogical skills, with the ability to adapt to changing curriculum requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to promoting academic excellence.
