Company Overview

All-Star Agency, a leading local retail bank in Hong Kong, seeks a highly skilled Regulatory Reporting Manager to join our team. As a critical checker role, you will report directly to the team head and play a pivotal part in ensuring the integrity and compliance of our regulatory reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting Governance: Supervise the preparation and submission of regulatory reports to guarantee adherence to both local and international regulations.
  • Compliance Assurance: Perform comprehensive reviews of regulatory reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and conformity with established standards.
  • Collaboration and Data Collection: Collaborate effectively with various internal departments to collect necessary data and insights for thorough reporting.
  • Regulatory Update Management: Stay updated on changes in regulatory requirements and ensure timely adjustments to internal reporting processes and systems.
  • Jr. Team Support: Mentor and support junior team members, promoting a culture of excellence in regulatory reporting practices.
  • Policies and Procedures: Assist in the formulation and implementation of policies and procedures related to regulatory reporting.
  • Management Reporting: Compile management reports detailing regulatory compliance status and highlight significant findings for senior leadership.
  • Ad-hoc Projects: Contribute to ad-hoc projects and initiatives related to regulatory reporting as directed by the team head.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a professional qualification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is desirable.
  • At least 5 years of experience in regulatory reporting within the banking or financial services sector, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership position.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements applicable to retail banking in Hong Kong.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a strong attention to detail, ensuring high accuracy in reporting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and VBA, with familiarity in regulatory reporting systems.
  • Highly organized and adept at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer an estimated salary range of HKD $720,000 - HKD $960,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including annual leave, medical benefits, and training opportunities.
