The selected candidate will oversee the operations of a transgenic facility, providing essential services related to mouse transgenesis, embryological procedures, and reproductive biology. Responsibilities include rodent breeding and supply management for animal users, as well as the administration of a quality control program for the animal facility and conducting relevant laboratory tests.
Additionally, the appointee will assist in the management of laboratory animal facility operations, including inventory management, equipment upkeep, and building maintenance.
Non-standard working hours may be necessary to accommodate optimal experimental schedules.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess a bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related field. Extensive experience in mouse preimplantation, embryo manipulation, and laboratory management is essential.
Contract Details
This position is offered for a duration of 2 years, with the possibility of renewal. The starting salary will be aligned with the candidate's qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits will include annual leave, medical, and dental coverage. A gratuity will be awarded upon successful contract completion.
