Our Risk and Compliance Team

The Risk and Compliance team plays a critical role in maintaining a well-balanced risk profile for the Bank while enabling businesses to thrive. Our team actively manages a diverse range of risk types, collaborating with businesses, other functional units, and regulatory bodies to develop and implement robust risk management frameworks and measures.

Special Credit Unit

The Special Credit Unit is responsible for corporate recovery, managing non-performing loans, and assessing related impairment provisions/write-offs of corporate portfolios. We are seeking a high-caliber professional to join our team as a Manager, Special Credit Unit (Account Management).

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head of Special Credit Unit in planning, directing, and controlling all aspects of corporate recovery functions for the Bank.
  • Oversee the overall trend of non-performing loans and specific impairment provisions.
  • Formulate corporate recovery strategies and implement recovery actions to ensure maximum recovery returns/business opportunities and minimize credit loss/costs.
  • Perform event-based, thematic reviews on co-managed accounts or other designated high-risk accounts to identify risk and credit concerns and set proactive risk mitigation strategies with key stakeholders.
  • Prepare financial, regulatory, and management reports.

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in credit risk management or corporate recovery in a regulated environment.
  • Strong sense of ownership and servicing mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively under tight timelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with flexibility to deal effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Proficiency in English, Chinese, and Putonghua.
