About the Position
The Hong Kong Sports Institute Limited is committed to excellence in athletic performance and development. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Scientific Conditioning Coach to join our team, responsible for delivering exceptional support to our athletes through evidence-based training programs and services.
Main Responsibilities
- To design and implement tailored training programs that cater to the diverse needs of athletes, utilizing your expertise in Strength and Conditioning;
- To supervise the daily operation of the Fitness Training Centre, ensuring a safe and motivating environment for athletes to train and thrive;
- To work collaboratively with the Sports Medicine Centre and other disciplines to deliver comprehensive support to injured athletes, ensuring their smooth rehabilitation and return to competition;
- To maintain a high level of professionalism in the fitness area and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition at all times;
- To conduct regular fitness assessments and field-testing on athletes, providing valuable insights to coaches and trainers;
- To provide on-field support to elite sports teams as required, demonstrating your expertise and adaptability in fast-paced environments;
- To maintain accurate records of athlete training data, utilizing this information to inform coaching decisions and drive performance improvements;
- To stay up-to-date with the latest trends and research in Strength and Conditioning, applying this knowledge to enhance our training programs and services;
- To undertake any other duties assigned by your supervisor, contributing to the overall success of our organization.
