We are seeking qualified professionals to join our team as Academic Support Specialists for Elite Athletes. Our aim is to provide top-notch educational support services to the athletes of the Hong Kong Sports Institute (HKSI). As an Academic Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our athletes excel academically while pursuing their sports careers.

Job Description:
  • To provide flexible academic support services to athletes according to their training schedules;
  • To offer remedial teaching and guidance on various subjects and public examinations for athletes receiving secondary and tertiary education;
  • To design and deliver teaching materials and tutorial lessons tailored to individual athletes' needs;
  • To assist athletes in developing personalized study plans and monitoring their progress;
  • To prepare progress reports and identify potential academic issues for our athletes;
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in Education or a related field with a major in secondary education curriculum; OR a master's degree with at least 3 years of teaching experience at the secondary education level;
  • At least 3 years of teaching experience in a relevant field;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Familiarity with Child Protection in sport and equal opportunity issues in the context of Hong Kong;
