Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sports Science Officer to join our team at the Hong Kong Sports Institute. As a key member of our scientific support team, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality services to our elite athletes and help drive the development of sports science expertise in Hong Kong.

Main Responsibilities
  • Plan and conduct exercise testing and training monitoring to optimize athlete performance.
  • Analyze data and prepare reports to inform coaching decisions.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based conditioning and rehabilitation programs.
  • Manage data and provide on-field support to elite sport teams.
  • Contribute to research projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • A university degree in science or a related discipline.
  • Relevant working experience or experience as an athlete in a high-performance system.
  • Excellent communication and planning skills, with leadership potential.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Holder of valid first aid and CPR certification.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
  • Strong language skills in English and Chinese, with additional languages an advantage.
