Job Title: APAC Risk Strategy Specialist

Ashford Benjamin Ltd is seeking a highly skilled APAC Risk Strategy Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures across the APAC region for consumer finance business, encompassing credit risk, liquidity risk, operational risk, technology risk, and risk modeling.
  • Lead the development of risk frameworks and assessments for APAC business, ensuring effective risk control on a group level.
  • Collaborate with subsidiaries on data analysis and risk analytics projects, driving business growth and risk mitigation.
  • Design and implement risk appetite, strategy, and infrastructure to maintain effective risk control.
  • Lead credit strategy on portfolio performance review, collateral strategy, portfolio construction, and risk modeling.
Qualifications
  • At least 7 years of experience in risk management covering APAC consumer finance/retail banking business.
  • Proven experience in handling risk strategy, risk model, and framework implementation.
  • Credit background is preferred.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, SQL, SAS, and C is required.
