Job Opportunity: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part-time Research Officer to join our team at the Pan Sutong Shanghai-Hong Kong Economic Policy Research Institute. The appointee will participate in five research projects investigating housing issues, consumption patterns, disparity between education and job opportunities, mental health among students in Hong Kong, and alternative dispute resolution in business.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in arranging interviews
  • Support in conducting interviews
  • Collect data and perform qualitative / quantitative data analyses
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)

Requirements:

  • Degree holder, preferably in Social Work, Social Policy, Sociology, Economics, Psychology or related disciplines
  • Skills in quantitative research and analysis tools
  • Good analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • A good command of written and spoken English (Chinese language is a plus but not a requirement)
  • The ability to work independently
  • Previous experience in undertaking research is highly preferred

Salary and Benefits: Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
