Economic Research and Corporate Development Assistant

Job Purpose:We are seeking an Assistant Manager to support our Directors' Office in key corporate development activities, strengthen our Economic Research and Investment Strategy Department, and undertake other initiatives as appropriate.
Main Responsibilities:Economic Research and Investment Strategy:- Assist in analyzing data and preparing reports on economic conditions to inform senior management's strategic and risk management decisions.
- Support group economists and market strategists in conducting research and disseminating research outputs to stakeholders.
- Perform ad hoc projects as assigned from time to time.
- Support key activities of the Directors' Office, including market research, presentation materials, and corporate events.
- Coordinate meetings and maintain relationships with existing and potential strategic partners.
- Manage the content of our corporate intranet platform.
- Degree holder in Economics, Business Administration, Social Science, or related disciplines.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in the banking industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with mainland China and Hong Kong's economy and policy would be an advantage.
- Well-versed in MS Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin). Japanese speaking is a plus.
- Good communication, interpersonal, analytical, and project management skills.
- Good team player and detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility.
