Assistant Manager, Economic Research and Corporate Development

Job Purpose:

As a key member of the Directors' Office at Dah Sing Bank, the successful candidate will provide administrative support to senior management, focusing on economic research and corporate development initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

Main Responsibilities:

Economic Research and Investment Strategy:

  • Assist in analyzing data and preparing reports on economic conditions to inform senior management's strategic and risk management decisions.
  • Support group economists and market strategists in conducting research and disseminating research outputs to stakeholders.
  • Perform ad hoc projects as assigned by senior management.

Corporate Development:

  • Support key activities of the Directors' Office, including market research, presentation materials for external and internal meetings, and corporate events.
  • Coordinate meetings and maintain relationships with existing and potential strategic partners.
  • Manage the content of the corporate intranet platform.

Incumbent Requirements:

  • Hold a degree in Economics, Business Administration, Social Science, or a related discipline.
  • Have 3-5 years of relevant experience in the banking industry, preferably in mainland China and Hong Kong.
  • Familiarity with the economies and policies of mainland China and Hong Kong is an advantage.
  • Be proficient in MS Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin), with Japanese speaking being a plus.
  • Exhibit strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Be a good team player with a strong sense of responsibility.
