We are seeking a highly skilled Economics Analyst to join our team at Bank Of China (Hong Kong) Limited. As an Economics Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis of macroeconomic, banking, and financial market trends.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Research and Analysis: Conduct macroeconomic, banking, and financial market research, and write up comprehensive research reports.
- Develop Strategic Plans: Analyze industry trends to formulate short, medium, and long-term plans and development strategies for our Financial Markets segment.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze the performance of various Financial Markets business units, prepare reports for presentation to management, and identify areas for improvement.
- Communication and Presentation: Present research work to internal and external parties, including senior management and clients.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate bank-wide or cross-departmental projects, ensuring timely completion and effective collaboration with team members.
- Education: Master's degree or above in Business, Economics, or Finance.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in macroeconomics, banking, and financial market research.
- Skills: Excellent communication and analytical skills, self-motivated, team player, and able to work under pressure.
- Language Proficiency: Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Office applications and/or statistical models.
