About This Role

In this position, you will act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance on employment tax issues to clients worldwide. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Advising tax, payroll, finance, and HR teams on tax and social security implications for employee employment.">
  • Guiding clients on employer reporting and withholding obligations.">
  • Providing advice on tax treatment of employer-provided compensation or benefits.">
  • Supporting clients with compliance reviews and audit remediation projects.">
  • Preparation of fringe benefit tax returns and associated data analysis.">
  • Assisting clients with contingent worker population management.">
  • Staying up-to-date on evolving tax laws and regulations.">

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have a minimum degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field. Experience in individual tax, preferably in Hong Kong, is advantageous. Certification in a relevant field is not required but preferred.
