The Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong is seeking a highly skilled Front Office Manager to join our team. As a member of our Front Office team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences through prompt, cordial attention and personal recognition.
Your role will involve managing all aspects of the front desk, including monitoring the Front Office and all front office personnel. You will also be required to provide on-floor support during heavy check-in and check-out periods and have knowledge of all Job Descriptions and Standard Operating Procedures relating to each function within the Front Office.
Proactive monitoring of cost and expense control systems and procedures to achieve the highest possible profitability will be essential, as well as ensuring staff is properly trained on systems, security, cash handling procedures, and service quality.
For this position, we seek a degree holder in hotel management or related discipline with minimum 8 years' experience in Front Office Department and at least 2 years in a managerial role. Strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and proven record in engaging guests and stakeholders are necessary.
