Senior IT Transformation Lead for Operational Excellence

About the Role

This senior role will drive strategic and tactical initiatives under TDA Transformation, with a focus on driving operational efficiency across our organization. As an expert in process, governance, and operating efficiency, you will work closely with Group, Business, and TDA collaborators to ensure strong alignment and successful execution of transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive efficiency of IT services, processes, and governance models, identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
  • Define, drive, and coordinate the development of process improvement initiatives, leading analysis and process mapping efforts to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Evaluate, prioritize, recommend, and lead improvement opportunities and changes to existing IT services and business alignment.
  • Lead the uplift in IT operational and execution capability through a deep understanding of levers across the IT landscape, enhancing efficiency through enablers such as engineering, automation, cloud-native adoption, IAAC, FinOps, DevOps, Agile, SecOps, etc., while balancing process effectiveness and IT controls.
  • Experience in defining performance measures and providing continuous feedback on measures (financial and non-financial) such as SLAs and TATs within IT operations to measure initiative impact.
  • Drive and implement impact initiatives that drive efficiencies through optimization of technologies and shared services.
  • Collaborate with other IT Senior Management Teams (SMTs) and Group Office to ensure alignment and best application of Group standards and governance control.
  • Work with IT SMTs and collaborators to ensure effective implementation and adoption of TDA efficiency initiatives, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Consult with business owners and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on ongoing improvements, delivering standard methodology IT operations & processes, and providing sustainable and scalable solutions.
Minimum Job Requirements:
  • University graduate with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including people management experience.
  • Validated experience in leading and handling IT efficiency improvement programs, applying program management methodologies and agile practices.
  • Validated experience in leading IT transformation initiatives through process and change management in an enterprise IT environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and lead changing priorities.
  • Able to work in fast-paced environments.
  • Creative thinker, proactive, enthusiastic, able to work independently and as part of a great team.
  • Business knowledge in the insurance industry.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and consultative skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of digital transformation trends and technologies, and their application in enhancing operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Background in consulting or experience in project delivery is a plus.
