About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our private credit business in Asia, with a focus on expanding our presence in the SEA region. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy to drive growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Originate and execute private credit transactions across various sectors, including corporate loans, mezzanine debt, distressed debt, and special situations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to internal policies and procedures.
  • Foster relationships with investors, corporates, and other key stakeholders to drive business growth and expand our private credit offerings.
  • Work closely with junior team members to provide guidance, mentorship, and support their professional development.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in private credit, investment banking, capital markets or a related field, with a strong focus on structuring and experience within the SEA region.
  • Proven track record of successfully originating and executing private credit transactions across various sectors.
  • Strong understanding of private credit term sheets, credit analysis, risk assessment, and deal structuring within the Asia market.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks is essential.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to collaborate effectively and support junior team members.
  • Excellent business acumen, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, investors, and corporates.
  • Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
