Aptitude Asia seeks a seasoned Lead Equity IT Business Solutions Expert to drive innovative solutions for trading on global equity markets and research areas. This pivotal role demands close collaboration with the Front Office Project Team to conceptualize, develop, and implement cutting-edge solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Solution Development: Work closely with stakeholders from front office, middle office, and research departments to gather requirements and transform them into comprehensive documentation, including business requirement documentation and user acceptance test plans.
  • Business Analysis: Analyze business requirements and propose effective high-level solutions for implementation, ensuring seamless design and execution.
  • Risk Identification: Identify, report, and escalate risks and issues in processes to the project manager to guarantee timely resolution.

About You:

  • You hold a University Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
  • You possess a minimum of 5 years of experience and strong knowledge of cash equity front office trading systems, with preference given to those with experience in Fidessa.
  • Familiarity with UL Bridge and Sybase is desirable.
  • You demonstrate solid knowledge of equity business and flow, particularly in Asian markets, and preferably have hands-on trading support experience.
  • You have a basic understanding of the Linux platform, along with proficiency in Excel and SQL.
  • You possess excellent communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese), with Mandarin and Japanese language proficiency being advantageous.
  • You have a minimum of 3 years of working experience in the Investment Banking or Securities Trading industry, with exposure to business analysis and support of equity trading applications.
