BOC International, a leading investment bank in the China and Hong Kong region, is seeking highly motivated professionals to join our team as Financial Services Specialists - Fixed Income.

Job Description

We are looking for candidates who can assist in the Group's daily treasury functions, including forecasting, monitoring, and controlling cash management activities. This role involves executing the Group's FTP mechanism, assisting with daily dealing activities, reviewing credit limits and bank facilities, preparing reports on treasury dealing activities, and providing necessary support to front offices and back offices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of cash flow forecasts and manage cash balances to ensure adequate liquidity;
  • Monitor and control cash management activities to minimize risk and maximize returns;
  • Execute the Group's FTP mechanism to facilitate secure and efficient fund transfers;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to review credit limits and bank facilities to ensure optimal utilization;
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on treasury dealing activities to inform business decisions;
  • Provide expert advice and support to front offices and back offices on treasury-related matters;

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Economics, Finance, Risk Management, or Information Systems, or equivalent; professional certifications like CFA, FRM, or equivalent are a plus;
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in banking or financial institutions, with exposure to ALM, treasury management, or IT project management being an added advantage;
  • Strong knowledge of treasury products and markets;
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with VBA skills being a bonus;
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a strong sense of initiative and attention to detail;
