Job Description

  • We are currently seeking a high-caliber professional to join our Commercial Banking business as a Credit Recovery Manager.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead, plan, oversee, and co-ordinate a wide range of projects, including offshoring migration, process review, system, and resource-related issues to ensure smooth delivery of credit recovery services.
  2. Provide prompt responses and recommendations on credit policies and collection strategies to adapt to the fast and changing market of Business Banking.
  3. Take legal proceedings against debtors by instructing external legal firms; represent the bank at court hearings and liaise with Official Receiver's Office, Outside Trustee on bankruptcy or winding up related matters.
  4. Instruct debt collections agencies when needed, provide comments from user perspective on guidelines for DCAs, and ensure their adherence to Group, HASE, and regulatory guidelines.
  5. Propose and implement quality enhancement and control strengthening initiatives in response to review findings, customer feedback, and business needs.

Requirements

  • University degree in a related discipline OR other relevant qualifications.
  • Minimum 5 years' managerial experience in credit risk or complaint handling and project management, in relation to commercial banking products.
  • Good understanding of portfolio management techniques including analytics.
  • Strong interpersonal/leadership skills, proficiency in both English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua an advantage.
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes.
