CAE Parc Aviation, a leading provider of aviation resources and technical services, is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Head of Fleet and Passenger Scheduling. This senior executive position will play a pivotal role in shaping the airline's fleet strategy and leading the Fleet and Passenger Scheduling Teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fleet Planning:
    • Develop and implement the airline's fleet strategy, aligning with the company's long and short-term operating plans.
    • Establish the company's long-term fleet requirements, ensuring optimal support for operating plans.
    • Conduct economic evaluations for fleet selection, including modeling and profitability analysis to inform investment decisions.
    • Evaluate different fleet options and make recommendations to the Fleet Steering Group.
    • Prepare business cases and board papers for aircraft acquisitions and decisions.
    • Lead the aircraft governance process, including the Fleet Steering Group, Aircraft Trading, and Engineering.
    • Define the optimal configuration for different aircraft types to match commercial and operational requirements.
    • Lead cross-departmental teams to execute fleet-related projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with business cases.
    • Evaluate the commercial performance of the fleet, identify opportunities to optimize profitability, and lead change where commercially justifiable.
    • Define the requirement for new aircraft, including induction plans, LOPAs, payload capacity, options for acquisition, and cost modeling.
  • Scheduling:
    • Lead the scheduling teams to devise an operating plan that optimizes the company's key resources.
    • Refine schedules in conjunction with the Passenger Network team to reinforce the airline's competitiveness as a premium hub carrier.
    • Ensure deliverability of the operating plan and schedules through close collaboration with operational stakeholders.
    • Manage the ongoing resource optimization process through activities including monthly aircraft deployment, capacity rationalization, and charters.
    • Manage the worldwide slots portfolio strategically.
    • Identify and initiate process and productivity improvements within the various planning processes, leveraging digital data.
  • Others:
    • Manage the overall system requirements for the Planning team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in airline management or a similar role.
  • Demonstrated strong business vision and commercial acumen.
  • High proficiency with data and numbers.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Track record of leading new initiatives and processes for continuous improvement.
  • Trusted to handle commercially sensitive and confidential information.
