Job Description

In this key role as Financial Accounting Senior Manager, you will oversee the financial accounting operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. You will lead a team of accounting professionals, manage financial reporting, and provide strategic insights to support the bank's growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the financial accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and reviews.
  • Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Skills
  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial accounting, preferably in the banking industry.
  3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  4. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  5. Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
  6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
