The Job

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Employee Benefits claims team, ensuring efficient and effective claims processing.
  • Monitor and approve claims within pre-set authority, providing clear commentary and justifications.
  • Handle complaints and resolve disputes in a fair and timely manner.
  • Regularly review and improve processes to enhance operation efficiency.
  • Develop and implement plans to achieve company objectives, including training and development programs.
  • Provide expertise on medical claim knowledge to Employee Benefits staff.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and enhance systems and processes.
  • Identify and mitigate potential anti-fraud risks.
  • Produce accurate and timely claims and audit reports.
  • Perform other duties and ad hoc projects as directed by senior management.

The Person

  • Hold a degree and have 10-15 years of relevant experience in medical insurance claims, with at least 5 years in managerial positions.
  • Hold a qualification such as FLMI, which is an advantage.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of Employee Benefits insurance.
  • Be proficient in medical claims knowledge and analytical skills.
  • Possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Be proficient in MS Office and Chinese Word Processing.
  • Have excellent management skills and the ability to initiate and implement technology and process changes.
  • Have a good command of English and Chinese in both spoken and written.
