Job Summary

The Vocational Training Council is seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to join our team as a Business and Management Instructor. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching business and management related modules to students, as well as assisting in the development of curriculum and teaching materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct classes in business and management related modules and assist in supervision of students' projects and fieldwork placement;
  • Assist in the development of curriculum, scheme of work, teaching and learning materials, and assessments for business and management modules;
  • Maintain and update department records and resources;
  • Assist with the routine maintenance of equipment and facilities;
  • Undertake other administrative and operational duties as required.

Requirements

  • A relevant recognized degree in business management or other related disciplines;
  • Preferably with relevant teaching and/or industrial experience;
  • Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese;
  • Proficiency in standard computer software applications.

  • Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic/professional qualifications may also apply;
  • Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written assessment;
  • The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and in designated places as assigned;
  • In support of the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) Scheme launched by the Hong Kong Police Force, all prospective appointees will be requested to undergo the SCRC at the advanced stage of the employment process.
